This workshop will let you discover or improve the technique of Romanesque illumination. It also aims at giving you an introduction into medieval symbolism.

To celebrate the coming of Spring, the Pays Mellois has invited me to run two workshops meant to introduce the technique of illumination on

March 21, 2009

- 10:00-12:00am : workshop for children. By the end of the workshop, each children will have produced a Romanesque "P" , initial letter for the word spring in French (“printemps”).

I am now working on the project of an exhibition set up by the association La Mine d'Art. The exhibition will take place in Paris in 2009 (exact dates unknown yet). For this exhibition, I will produce Persian-influenced miniatures.

“Lire en fête”, meaning “Reading in Celebration”, is a festival held in most French libraries. During this festival, I will be part of the exhibition “L'Art Millénaire du Livre” from October 1st to 13 at Louis Aragon library in Tarbes.
